I’ve heard I’m a good music teacher, but I mainly view myself as a musician. Music has always been my biggest passion in life. I’ve come to realize my desire to spread my knowledge of it in hopes I can give other people the impact that it has had on me. I welcome any musical style or skill level. I teach by giving the student all the tools and letting them create on their own. I’ll supply the training wheels for a while, but I put a focus on my students achieving their own unique creative style through practice. Rather than taking a traditional approach to teaching, I encourage students to develop their individual sound with suggestions and ideas instead of rigid assignments. My aim is to enrich the students’ musical vocabulary as well as their knowledge of all things related to their instrument. My lessons can take a practical turn for the newly gigging musician looking for advice on musical equipment as well. With dedication and patience, my students will achieve their fullest musical potential. My lessons are for anyone who is looking for an affordable way to becoming a better musician.
