Born to play the drums, Ryan Hare has been sitting on a drum throne since he can remember. With a background equal parts self-taught and formal music schooling, Ryan brings a professional attitude and skills to the table as well as a strong passion for drumming.
At twenty four years old he’s has been on stage and in the studio with various projects in New England and abroad for the past 8 years. Versed in styles ranging from Blues, Afro-Cuban, Hip Hop, Jazz, to Rock & Americana, Ryan has developed a natural sense for laying down rhythm.
Over the years he’s built lasting connections in numerous music scenes including Asheville, NC, Sante Fe, NM, NYC, & most recently New England playing with 5 bands based out of Burlington, VT where he’s shared the stage with the likes of Poogie Bell, Stanton Moore, Adam Deitch, and many other innovative modern drummers.
In 2010 Hare has relocated to Seattle, WA where he is currently showcasing his talent with 3 Seattle based bands in the studio and on stage as well as teaching drum lessons at Mann’s School of Music in Bellingham, WA.
